Four Ways to Exercise Your Mind Power

Four Ways to Exercise Your Mind Power

The mind is the most powerful, most mysterious, and most amazing part of our bodies. It can equip and enable you to do almost anything by providing you with the right ideas, beliefs, actions, behaviors, and prompting, as long as the mind is stimulated in the right state. If you know how to wield the full power of your mind, nothing can stop you from reaching all your goals.

Do you really take advantage of the capabilities of your mind? Do you reap the benefits of a powerful mind? If you don't think your life is a testimony of the true power of your mind, then you're not using your mind to the best you can.

Here's how you can exercise your mind so it creates better and stronger ideas to empower you:

1. Set a goal. Always set goals for yourself. This helps organize all your thought processes and actions, and this also gives your mind a specific direction to work towards. But there are some guidelines you have to remember when setting a goal that your mind will proactively respond to. Make sure that the goal is:

·         Stated clearly

·         Specific

·         In the present tense

Goals written in the present tense are more effective because it motivates the mind to do something about it now. It does not encourage procrastination and delays. The mind immediately sets to work to make that goal possible.

2. Clear your mind of clutter. Don't let clutter overwhelm your mind. The mind works well when it is clear, organized, and has patterns to follow. When clutter starts to build up, you won't get anywhere. And when clearing out clutter, make sure you clear out those in the conscious and the subconscious parts of the mind. The conscious mind is easier to clean, but the subconscious mind is harder to clean because you do not have direct access to it. Also, the subconscious is not prey only to cluttered thoughts, but also to cluttered emotions. The hardest part is that the negative clutter seem to be more stubbornly embedded.

You can clear up your subconscious mind through practices that help improve concentration, such as meditation. You can also use hypnosis, brainwave entrainment, and subliminal products. Subliminal products include subliminal audio and subliminal videos that you can simply play for a few minutes each day. These are effective, easy to use, and widely available over the Internet. They can do wonders especially in clearing out negativity from your subconscious mind.

3. Listen to music. Music has its way of making the mind more sensitive and more receptive to positive thoughts and affirmations. This is actually why some songs tend to get stuck in your head. Music has its way of reaching deep into the subconscious mind. On the whole, music can relax, strengthen, and cultivate the mind, so try to listen to good music when you have the time.

4. Repetition and consistency. The mind thrives on patterns and repetitions. If you want it to change or if you want to emphasize something, you just have to keep on repeating the change you want in your mind. Repetition can help create continuous results because it makes your goals seem stronger and more urgent. Aside from that, continuous repetition makes your goals a usual part of your belief system, so you don't have to make an effort to stay focused on them.
